Natural v.s synthetic
Most vitamins these days are man made!! They come from a factory not an orchard. They are not the same as the vitamins that occur naturally in foods. They lack the life force that is provided by mother nature. In essence it is like looking at plastic flowers, they look real enough but if you try to smell them they are nothing but poor imitations of the real thing.
Why? Well man can not improve on nature when it comes to nutrition and vitamins because there are so many unknowns in foods that we are still discovering. All of the tiny parts in food play a role in keeping our bodies functioning disease free and with vitality.
When man makes a vitamin we only get one part of the food. This is why they are called isolated vitamins. Man made vitamins are known as isolated synthetic man made vitamins. These vitamins are isolated because they are missing all the other things in food that would have come with this vitamin in nature. Take for example an apple...
"they say an apple a day keeps the doctor away."
Why? Well there are 450 things that have been discovered in a fresh clean apple.
In an apple are vitamins, minerals, enzymes, fibre, phytochemicals and many other things we are yet to discover. All of these things work together synergistically to help your body absorb and use each little piece of nutrition contained in an apple.
When taking man made isolated vitamins it is like taking a solo violin player out of a full orchestra and expecting the single violin to have the same sound as the orchestra. The isolate can't because when all the pieces are together, not only are there more individual pieces but we also have synergy.
In the orchestra it is heard in the harmonies of the instruments. In the human body the synergy of whole food creates an optimal functioning cell.
